We look forward, because we expected a beautiful game on Sunday, but mostly because we wish to play at our RSP and dedicate a great match to the Sevillismo. Sevilla FC has always been strong against the difficulties and with that mentality we went to the Training center after the defeat against Manchester City.
Today we have to rest, leave behind those intact options to stay alive in the Champions League and focus on the league, our daily bread. We look at the rival, Real Madrid, which is a leader and respect it in the sense that we will work and prepare thoroughly for in match day go for them on the lawn of Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán. We have to improve, we are aware of it and the results keep us on alert, but those green shoots already have been spotted on several occasions. What we need is that improvement maintains the line of more regularity and certainty, from the individual with the steps being taken by some players to the collective.
The strength of Sevilla FC is the team, as we have shown in these almost three seasons I’ve been here, a team which has always had, has, and will have back its spectacular fans in charge of taking in the air from the requirement.
The players, the coaching staff, the club, Sevillismo, we all have the intact illusion. We are aware of the expectations generated this season and we work hard to achieve the goals we have set. Our challenges are to consolidate Sevilla FC in Europe and compete to the end in league. Will you join us? Real Madrid, the only one team that managed to win last year at RSP, awaits us. Come on, my Sevilla FC!
